How much weight do I need?

Too little and your bait never gets down or holds; too much and a fish feels the lead and drops it. The right amount depends on how deep you're fishing and how hard the water is moving. Set both for a starting weight and the rig that suits it - then fine-tune on the water.

Suggested weight ~0.3 oz about 9 g

Rig: a bullet or egg sinker on a running rig.

Start light, add up: begin below this and pinch on more only until the bait just holds where you want it. The lightest weight that does the job gives you the most feel and the most bites.
